UNC Kenan-Flagler ranks #3 in the U.S. and #9 in the world for CSR in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking for 2021!


CSE and the MBA program are pleased to see our ranking for corporate social responsibility (CSR) content place us in the top 10 globally and #3 in the U.S. CSE Faculty Director and Sustainable Enterprise Concentration Leader, Olga Hawn commented, “We conducted a thorough evaluation of our sustainable enterprise course offerings, considering both the skills businesses are looking for in new talent and the topical areas of interest for our students. CSE Launches DEI Working Group


The Center for Sustainable Enterprise is excited to invite our alumni to join our diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) working group. The purpose of this group is to create an opportunity to explore and improve DEI in sustainability. This is a volunteer group and is open to any alumni who would like to be involved in making sure that the social equity portion of sustainability leads us in a positive direction. Student Registration Open for the India Impact Challenge


How can India drive economic growth in a climate-friendly manner? India needs both capital and solutions NOW! We invite student teams, representing schools around the world, to pitch investment strategies that will help tackle climate change, while supporting economic growth in India. Judges will provide feedback and determine the most innovative solutions that will win a portion of $15,000 in prizes. The deadline for › student submission is March 21.

Social Impact Summer Grants


The Stacia L. Woods Social Impact Summer Grant (SISG) program provides financial support to MBA students during their summer internship with organizations that make a positive social impact. › Applications this year are due April 18.

Last summer, Stacia L. Woods SISG recipient Hayley Andrews worked as a Business Management Consultant through the National Parks Business Plan Internship, a highly selective summer program that enables top graduate students to lead strategic projects that impact the long-term health of National Park units. › Read More


MBA FoodCon 2021


UNC Kenan-Flagler, along with NC State Jenkins and Duke Fuqua, held the 7th annual MBA FoodCon virtually on Friday, February 12th, 2021 with over 100 participants. The conference theme was “Resilience, Creativity and the Future of Food.” The conference included a morning and afternoon keynote, four panels and a lunchtime cook-along with Jacob Boehm of Snap Pea. Many thanks to all the speakers and participants for making this year’s FoodCon engaging and enlightening!
