As an electrical engineer with over 20 years in the technology industry, Anagha Kalvade decided to change direction and pursue an MBA. She chose Kenan-Flagler primarily because of its Sustainable Enterprise opportunities. As an MBA Kenan Scholar, she is leveraging her technology background to further her passion for sustainability and entrepreneurship through research.
The project “Sustainability in the Technology Industry: Challenges and Opportunities” has given her in-depth, hands-on experience researching the current methodologies employed by software and hardware companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, energy use, water use and waste generation.
