Thomas Slade is a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill studying Business with minors in History and Public Policy. As a business major, his professional interests include finance, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. Thomas gained a strong passion for sustainability through his love for the outdoors, and he is excited to research the impact of ESG metrics on corporate evaluations. In Spring 2021, Thomas plans to study abroad at Copenhagen Business School for the opportunity to gain further insights within one of the most sustainable cities in the world. In addition to his Sustainable Initiative Internship, Thomas is currently interning with the North Carolina Department of Commerce within the Office of Science, Technology & Innovation. He hopes that through these opportunities he will better position himself to be a business leader for social good with a long-term sight on Impact Investing.
