Deeksha Mittal is pursuing a B.A. in Advertising & Public Relations and a B.A. in Environmental Studies on the sustainability track. She hopes to apply marketing and communications to environmental advocacy and sustainable food initiatives. She is co-founder and co-president of The Chapel Hill Alt Protein Project, where she works on increasing alt protein education and research at UNC and beyond. Outside of school, her hobbies include playing bass clarinet, baking and volunteering at farm animal sanctuaries.
