Anagha Kalvade was born and raised in India. She received her undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) in India and a Master’s degree in EE at Cal State Northridge.  As an Electrical Engineer, Anagha worked at Synopsys Inc. for the last 24 years helping major semiconductor companies design chips that are faster, smaller, and power-efficient.
Anagha plans to leverage her technology background to further her passion for sustainability. The project “Sustainability in the Technology Industry: Challenges and Opportunities” will provide her the in-depth hands-on experience to research the current methodologies employed by software and hardware companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, energy use, water use, and waste generation. She is very excited to join the Center for Sustainable Enterprise team and contribute to both ESG and Impact Investing work in the technology sector.
