The Center for Sustainable Enterprise and the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise are proud to host the second annual University of North Carolina Sustainability Awards Gala on September 5, 2019. These awards recognize a North Carolina business that is uniquely incorporating sustainable practices into their core functions and a Distinguished Alumnus of UNC Kenan-Flagler. Chosen by a cross section of academic and business leaders, the winners of these awards exhibit cutting edge environmental, social and governance leadership through taking initiative, driving innovation and registering measurable impact.
We are looking to recognize a company whose product, initiative, or business practice uses the three criteria of initiative, innovation and impact to demonstrate sustainability success:
To apply for the 2019 UNC Sustainability Award, please submit a written description of your sustainability business practice, initiative or product highlighting the above criteria of initiative, innovation and impact. We also encourage you to submit a video that supplements the written application. The deadline to submit applications is June 30, 2019.
